Day 1- The adventure begins

Hello Everyone,
Before we begin to update you on our travels, our family would like to extend our gratitude to all of those that were able to gather on our last evening in Canmore. This lasting memory could not of happened without our good friends, Lisa & Remo, who put this all together. It was great to share quality time along with great food & wine with friends over the past week. We will surely miss you all. Please let us know if anyone feels like making last minute plans to visit Mexico as we would love to host friends in our trailer.

DAY 1: We got an early start this morning, leaving Shelly & Dan's at 6:30am. We took a slightly different route then planned & stopped for lunch at a family restaurant in Cardston, Alberta. We were in the truck for quite some time up to this point. Ironically, the first person we speak to is the restaurant owner, who was........Mexican! He was super friendly & gave us lots of great advice, making us even more excited about our trip. We were pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was Mexican, so we ordered the quesidilla & burrito but held back on the Margarita's....for now. We crossed the US border at a very small crossing &breezed right through. The drive was very dull but the kids did exceptionally well as Trae thought the wind power towers were cool. They watched a bit of movies and lots of activities and we even managed to complete Kiah's first day of home school (RV School). We are now at a hotel in Grand Falls Montana this evening and plan on having another long day of driving tomorrow.
Cheers to all!!!

Hello Trevor

Feb 15 - 18, Robert and I are golfing in Palm desert. We're off to Primm NV to watch our friend from MESA AZ in a dunebuggy race. Then we will be heading down to Dragoon AZ Feb 25th to join some folks for a weekend of motorcycling.

We'd like to meet up if our paths cross; if you like, you can reach us at baconr@telus.net.
